All we've heard about for the last 2 weeks is Xander's pumpkin patch field trip. He has been so excited to go and pick out his VERY OWN pumpkin! I don't do buses, so I just decided to crash his field trip and ask his teacher for forgiveness if it wasn't okay. Thankfully she was great about it! We learned about bees, pigs, donkeys, lamas, chickens, pumpkins, and horses. We picked pumpkins and went on a hayride the enjoyed lunch - then back to school. They did everything at the pumpkin patch, except have any time to play on anything. I wasn't a fan of that. All these awesome play areas and corn mazes, and the kids weren't allowed to play because there was no time and this was a "learning" field trip. Also, they charged me $13 to get in - so pricey! We won't be going back to play there - but it was fun to do once!
