No Snow Christmas

This is a few days after Christmas. There is no snow - kids are in long sleeve shirts outside and not even cold. This is crazy!

Genetics are Strong

Andrew and my dad are so much alike. They both have that almost unnatural ability to fix or build just about anything, solve problems with ease, and approach life with a constant “I can do it” attitude. And for some reason, they both love laying by the fire.

When I was visiting Nini and Bebe, I turned around and saw my dad stretched out on the floor by the fire. The very next day, I took this picture of Andrew doing the exact same thing.

I love these little moments—when something my kids do gives me a glimpse of my parents and Christopher’s parents. They’re gentle reminders of where we come from and how deeply connected we are. Family really is something special. ❤️

Freckletons Come to Visit!

We had the best surprise ever this week! The Freckletons decided to make an impromptu trip to Utah while we were here too. Since they have so much family in the area, we were thrilled they could squeeze in a quick visit with us at the cabin. We shared some yummy food, played fun games, and even took a quick spin around the yard before they had to head out to meet up with their Eagle Mountain family. It was so special getting a little visit from VA while in UT! 💛

Xander Art

He was so quiet for a few hours on the drive home from Nashville. When we stopped at the rest stop for a potty break we saw why. He didn't just decorate his arms - he also graffiti the back of my car. This kid.
