Zack Starts Lacrosse!

Apparently we are now a lacrosse family! Zack got a whim that he would like to play lacrosse and suddenly here we are! We attended a baptism at 11am, headed right over to Dick's to get all his gear (minus the items we borrowed from the Boyds), ran home to change, and headed to the field where we promptly realized we forgot a few things like water, warm coats, and the right snacks. Zack loved it, Nick decided he too would like to play lacrosse. We ordered him (and Xander) sticks and they ask me everyday if the sticks are here yet.  After practice we headed to stake conference where the message was all about missionary work. I spot Kallie's name!!!

 

Ben's First Moody Joody Concert!

Guess who's on tour right now?! And guess who's tour stop was in SLC on Saturday?! Yep! Kaitie! She and her band, Moody Joody, were performing and of course Grandma, Papa, Megan, Steve, Remi, Ben and Nate had to go support her! Ben even scored a tour shirt! Moody Joody is moving up in the world - they now have a vinyl out now too! Ben loved the concert and now Kallie is very upset that she doesn't have a shirt too!

 

A few Quick Xander Stories

1. Stella came cover the other day and they really wanted to have popcorn in the hammock. Also, they are going to get married. Stella already has picked out her shoes. Xander wanted to make sure she understood, before she came over, that today was not going to be their wedding day. He would rather get married at the beach. K, good to know.

2. He still loves a good nap. We were chatting with our home teachers and Xander cozied up to Christopher, cuddled in, and was out. 3 hour nap!

3. I had put the boys to bed and went back down stairs to work. Christopher was traveling. It was after midnight by the time I finally got to go to bed and this one about had me jumping out of my skin when I walked in my room, looking at my phone, and him yelling "Surprise!" Oh yes, I was surprised! I almost dropped my phone!

Finally! Dentist Success!

 This is our 3rd dental appointment where we attempted to get Xander to allow his teeth to be cleaned - and....SUCCESS!! It's crazy what a toy box will do to a kids desire to have their teeth cleaned. It was super important to have him seen since he has something funky going on with his back right bottom molar. Thankfully the dentist said it was just mal-formed enamel - so win, win, WIN! Then we got the mail when we got home and had a Valentine's Day surprise from Grandma in the mail! Best day ever!

Snow Day!

We got so much snow! 9 inches! They cancelled school for the last two days, and the kids have loved it. Today we went over to the neighbors and went sledding with them. Please note Nick's outfit. I told him to wear two pairs of pants and he did. One pair of grey pants - and a pair of black shorts. He's kind of adorable. They rode sleds down the hill with our other neighbor and stayed outside for hours. Aren't they adorable?!

And another Zack Birthday Celebration...

 Okay, one more. We went up to Uncle Ligaya's house for Superbowl Sunday! (Don't get me started on what a terrible game that was..but the food and company were amazing - so overall - it was a win). Chase's birthday was the next day, so we did cake! Chase was so kind and added a candle for Zack. So last birthday thing - for reals....

Xander Cuteness

Okay, I know Xander has dominated this blog the last few posts, but seriously, when he does stuff like this how can you not post it?! Nick and Xander have rediscovered their spiderman halloween costumes. Yesterday he got all bundled up to go ride bikes outside - spiderman suit, mask, and coat that is 2 sized too small. It was perfection. Also, when we went to play at Stella's house, he had to make sure the babies were in there carseat. I love this boy!

 

Still Zack's Birthday....

 We've been celebrating Zack's birthday for the last few weeks. Saturday, he bought himself a new to him X-Box with is birthday money. Then we did the final thing on his list - go to hibachi for dinner. We discovered a few things - Zack actually doesn't like sushi (he almost threw up at the table), Nick doesn't know what an accent is, and Xander loves chicken cooked in fire.

Xander Cuteness

Sometimes he's just too cute to not take a picture of. The other day he requested I buckle baby Dino into his carseat with him - so of course I did! Then we had to walk to the bus stop to get Nick. It was the first warm day in forever and he had to wear his snowboots - since there is still snow on the ground. 3 year olds are fun.

Debit Card

 Zack, like all my older kids, has been counting down the days till he could get a debit card. We make the kids wait till they are 13. Zack turned 13 on a Thursday and on Saturday we were at the bank getting an account (after eating ice cream cake for breakfast!)! He was so excited. After opening up his account we went out to lunch. It was so fun getting to hang out with Zack!
