Polar Express

Nick loves to go to school. Today his teacher turned on Polar Express for a few minutes before dismissal. These cute faces just warm my heart!

Zack learns a hard lesson....

Look at the handsome Zack. His hair is one of his pride and joys. He flips his hair, combs his hair, whips his hair - he loves his long hair.

Zack came home a few days ago asking how I would feel if he got a buzz cut. I told him he could do anything he wanted with his hair! He proceeded to tell me 2 people offered to pay him a total of $11 if he would buzz his hair. As Zack says, "Christmas is coming and $11 is $11!"

So I got the clippers out. I should have taken a picture of the amount of hair I cut off this kid! We did a #2 buzz cut. He went to school wearing a hat. He isn't a big fan of this new look.

He got home from school today and was livid and ticked off because one person forgot their money and the other person claimed to have her fingers crossed behind her back. Apparently he will get paid $10 tomorrow. We shall see! But one thing I know - Zack will never cut his hair for money again WITHOUT the cash in hand!

Nick found his smile

Nick had picture day at preschool. I told him to make sure to smile. He is terrible at smiling at the camera! When we got the proofs back he told me "Mom! I found my smile!" Heart melting...

Xander cleans the pantry.....

He dumps everything out, then decides to pack up his Cocomelon purse with snacks for the day....he offers me some by saying "Trick or Treat!" Clearly the Halloween memories are strong....

Xander does Laundry

This kid is such a helper. I turn my back for one second to put some clothes in my room, and he decides to freshen up my laundry room. He dumped out a full bottle of Downy crystals and laundry pods. At this point I'm just so tired that I pulled out my phone, recorded some videos, took some pictures, and let him enjoy it. I didn't get around to clean it up until Christopher was giving the boys a bath. Man, I thought Andrew was a busy toddler!

The Newest Member of the Family

Andrew is always on Facebook marketplace looking for project bikes. Unfortunately he found a great one - and got his Dad on board with it.  Andrew is now the proud owner of a 1999 88 1500 Kawasaki Vulcan. No, it doesn't run, but he is positive he can get it going. For all those keeping track we now have 2 non-working motorcycles, 1 non-working ATV, several non-working weed whackers, 2 lawn mowers only Andrew can start, and one leaf blower only Andrew can use.

To be fair to Andrew he did an amazing job and cleaned out my whole garage so two cars could fit in there (we have a 3 car garage). Guess what cars are in the garage? Christopher's Volvo and the Mazda. Where is my van? Driveway.
