Naples Beach, FL 3/28

We had been moving at full speed—going a hundred miles an hour—and realized we needed a break. Our snorkeling excursion off the Keys had to be cancelled due to high winds, so sadly, the Keys were scratched off our list. However, we’d loved the airboat tours on the West side of Florida the day before, so we decided to head back that way. In Naples, we discovered a stunning white-sand beach and spent the day soaking up the sun, playing in the sand, and enjoying the ocean. On our way home, we stopped at Cracker Barrel for a hearty meal, only to be greeted by a two-hour detour due to road construction. Good times, right? The kids were exhausted and napped the whole way back as we slowly made our way home. It was the perfect way to wrap up our Florida adventure!

There were too many cute pictures of the kids - so here are my top 36!

Gatorland 3/26

Wow, just wow! This place is truly unbelievable. You have to see it to believe it. I've never encountered so many alligators in one spot—thousands of them, of all sizes and ages! The kids had the chance to hold a baby alligator and even feed the adults with no fence separating them! (They did the "behind the fence" experience, which was incredible.)

Zack got to hold a massive boa constrictor—seriously, it was huge! We also watched thrilling alligator wrestling and jumping shows, where they even fed the alligators chicken by hand. It was amazing to see them up close.

We learned so much about alligators, saw adorable baby alligators, and fed a ton of birds (probably the highlight for the little boys!). To cap off the day, they had a blast running around the alligator-themed spray park.

It was an unforgettable experience—definitely a day to remember!
