Ben's a Magician!

 Ben saw this video of a guy doing this to his dog - so of course we had to try it on Nick - as one does. This was a big hit!

I knew the swings at the park would be a huge hit with nick since he loves his jumper so much. We decided to stop and try it out today and he loved it.  As soon as I put him in and pushed the swing a bit he started yelling and screaming as loud and happily as he could.  It was so cute...there was even an elderly man walking the park and stopped to watch the delight Nick had with his swing.  It was too cute.

We've gotten a ton of rain here in England and it has no where to go!  This is not a pond, but the field where the kids play soccer.  Today there were dogs swimming in there loving every minute.  Hopefully the rain will calm down a bit!

Ahma turns 90!

This gorgeous lady turned 90 years young this year! What an amazing milestone to celebrate! Unfortunately we couldn't make the trip stateside to celebrate with everyone (COVID, Baby, Work, ETC) but we loved getting all the pictures and celebrating Ahma from afar! We are so lucky to have our Ahma!

Salisbury gets lots of Rain!

 Salisbury has been getting lots of rain lately. The park we always walk to has even flooded! Christopher and the boys went for a ride today and the path is completely under water.  The daffodils are loving all the water!

I will never get tired of these beautiful flowers in springtime! They just make me happy.

Dad's Big Birthday Gift

Dad had a big birthday this year - so of course he needed a big gift! Dad loves music and loves playing the piano. I heard from a little bird that there was a very old baby grand piano that needed love and a new home. It's not often I will make a big purchase without running it past Christopher first, but I knew this would be one he would approve of.

One his actual birthday we gave him a little hint. A piano book of Duets from LaLa Land. Honestly, I can't remember if he guessed it or not, but he was so surprised when he finally made it home from work that day.  When the guys delivered the piano they were horrified at the slop of our driveway (as everyone is!) I was impressed - they got it down!

And, of course, Mr. Loud himself had to give it a try too. Happy 4oth babe, we love you!

 

Musical Nicholas

 Nicholas has always been a kid whose voice carries. He also loves noise. So when you have a piano it is just begging for Nick to come and bang on it and sing along. He loves to sit on the piano bench and play and sing along. When the kids try to practice the piano Nick always tries to overtake their space. On this day we were waiting for Christopher's birthday present to arrive. It was pretty fitting we played the piano while we waited.
