Rodeo Clown....or cute baby?

I bought this cute outfit for Nick on Amazon and was so excited to dress him up for church. When I got there Christopher burst out laughing.  He said he looked like a rodeo clown!

And after he said it I couldn't stop seeing it.  I returned it the next day.

Plastic Cups

Who knew plastic cups could case one 12 year old to be entertained for DAYS!  We pulled these cups out for a dinner one night and Andrew took it upon himself to create tower after tower.

His dedication is pretty impressive!

Check out that concertation!

New Carpet!

I love carpet.  Christopher hates carpet.  We had to figure out a compromise.  The carpet in the bedrooms was the original carpet when the house was built - and gross.  We decided to re-carpet the bedrooms and it has made the biggest difference.  I love walking on it, laying on it, sleeping on it, reading on it....it is heaven!

All the old carpet GONE!!!!

The amount of stains on this carpet made me almost want to vomit.  ugh

New padding!!!

The master bedroom was a beast to carpet!

Before it is trimmed...

Seriously - this is heaven.

The installers probably thought I was crazy getting so excited and taking progress pictures all the time.  BUT I COULDN"T HELP  IT!!!!

Slowly but surely this place is starting to feel more and more like home.

Zack's Soccer Party

Zack finished another season of soccer! I'm sure one day he will actually love it. He still complains every practice that he doesn't want to go. Apparently he doesn't like people telling him what to do. This team was kind of weird. They never really bonded. Hopefully he will give it another try!

Ferrets are home!

Oh it's so nice to have pets again! We have missed having Rascal and Fidget with us. Don't love the poop or the smell, but I love the cuddles and watching them run and play.

Fuller's come to dinner

Christopher's cousin Roy (Sara Ann and Glen son) and his family live in Woodbridge which is just 30 minutes or so from us. We invited them down to dinner and enjoyed hanging out with them. Hopefully this will be the start of many more dinners!
