Summertime Preview with Friends

 We have met the best people through Nick's school! We were invited to come over and enjoy some fun in the sun with friends. I can't wait for summer!

Andrew Turns 16!

I can't believe Andrew is already 16 years old! He can not wait to be able to drive, and such we live in VA had to to wait 3 more months. That being said, we still celebrated this amazing young man of ours! Christopher will be out of town this whole month, including on Andrew's birthday, so we spread his birthday out over the whole month. We went to Kings Dominion with Dad before he traveled, had cake with Uncle Chris, Ligaya, and Ligaya's parents, Did birthday gifts and cake after his birthday, and just loved spending the whole month of April celebrating Andrew! Andrew can fix anything, loves motorcycles, and anything with an engine, loves marching band, can't wait to drive, and is an amazing big brother. We love you Andrew!

 

Xander's Peer Model Interview

 We are so excited that Xander is old enough to finally go to school! He is interviewing to become a peer model like Nick. He could not wait to go to school and got all fancy. Of course he passed with flying colors!

Kallie's Music Performance

One awesome thing about modern technology is the opportunity to be apart of concert and things that occur hundreds of miles away. Kallie performed in the BYU band and it was played via zoom - so we got to see it too! Ben went to support Kallie and took this amazing selfie of the two of them. I love these kids of mine!

Moody Joody Concert

 Uncle Nathan's girlfriend, Kaitie, is in a band called Moody Joody. They have really taken off and recently signed a record deal with a label! We couldn't pass up the opportunity to see Kat in her element when she came to DC to perform. It was such a great show and we are official Moody Joody fan club members - matching shirts too!

Total Eclipse

We were so excited to see the eclipse this year! Where we live didn't get full coverage of the sun, but a pretty good chunk was covered! Karen ordered us these awesome glasses and me, Andrew, Nick, and Xander enjoyed watching the eclipse from the back deck. It was crazy how dark it got. Our automatic lights that go on at dusk all turned on, crickets got louder, all birds went silent - it was crazy. What an amazing thing to experience!
