Xander finally got to give a talk in Primary! We wanted Dad to help him, and bonus, it was Easter so the boys got to sing in sacrament meeting!

Bring Your Kids to Work

After four years of working at the Pentagon, we finally had the chance to visit Christopher at work! Since the building is usually closed to visitors for obvious reasons, it was a rare and special treat to spend the day there and see where Dad goes every day.

They hosted a fun-filled carnival with face painting, candy, balloons, free stickers, food, and so much more. Nick and Xander were completely convinced that Dad spends his days playing at a giant fair!

It was such a fun experience—and skipping school for the day made it even better. We loved getting the full tour and seeing the amazing place Dad gets to call his workplace.

Induction to the National Honors Society

Andrew always manages to surprise me. I got the invitation to his National Honor Society induction, and when I asked him about it, he brushed it off like it was no big deal—he even said we didn’t need to go. But I knew better. This is a big deal, and such a well-deserved honor!

Dad was out of town, but I was lucky enough to be there to cheer him on, surrounded by so many of his amazing friends. And in true Andrew fashion, he showed up on his motorcycle—just to keep things cool.

So proud of him!
