College Son

Well, there isn't to much to update about our college son. He is terrible at sending pictures. I'm hoping this post will remind him to send me pictures!  BENJAMIN!

HOCO 2022

We like to cut things pretty close. Kallie's homecoming dress arrived at 6:48pm. Her friends arrived at 7:00pm. It was really, really close! These cute girls decided to go together to homecoming on this rainy, cold, hurricane threating night. Andrew would have happily gone with them, but Kallie said he didn't ask early enough - so I drove him. Of course the girls had to have a twirling contest and they had to life up Andrew - which was adorable. All in all they had fun, but really missed the homemade Homecoming they did for the last two years. They said the high school homecoming was all rap music or music you couldn't dance to. They couldn't wear heels (which is OK because of Kals foot, but Erica loved her heels), and it was just not what they were hoping. The good news is, when you go with fun friends it doesn't matter what else is going on - you have a great time!

Jeans and Pockets

Doesn't Nick look snazzy in his new jeans?!  He is 3, and I just bought him his very first pair of jeans. He was THRILLED! Do you know they have pockets for his hands on his bum!? He walked around all day yesterday just like the picture above. Kallie came home and showed him he could put things in his pockets...like his cars...and his mind was blown! We have to work on wording, "I'm going to put this car in my bum", but we will get there! And yes, this is the second day he has worn this same outfit. I need to convince him to change before I have to take him to schoo.

Standing Ovation

Xander is SO CLOSE to walking! He's not quite there yet, but any day now. This kid loves the spot light though. When he first started to figure out how to stand up on his own we would all clap for him when he did it. He would get so excited and clap along with us with the biggest grin. Now, whenever there is an open room or opportunity, he will stand up in the middle of the room and wait for his applause. It's adorable!  To make it more exciting for his audience he will stand up, clap with everyone, fall down dramatically, stand back up and clap for himself again. This little guy is such a ham!
