I honestly can't decide which I love more—playing inside the cabin or outside in the snow. Inside, we're surrounded by laughter and games that never get old, deep conversations, and imaginative adventures with cousins. We let our creativity run wild and have the best time just being ourselves. Whether we're cozy indoors or exploring the snowy outdoors, each moment feels special in its own way

Nick loses his FIRST tooth! Dec 28

Nick has had a lose tooth for a few weeks now. He had been really excited to have it fall out, and it finally fell out while at the cabins, surrounded by siblings, cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents - everyone who knows how to make a big deal out of this huge, monumental event! I had made him a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, and that was all it took! It popped out when he was eating his sandwich and he was so excited. He went around and showed everyone - and everyone was so excited for him. He was sure the tooth fairy would bring him $200 and candy (because doesn't everyone get $200 and candy per tooth?). The next day he was very excited to get $1. We watched the Tooth Fairy this trip and it made him completely aware of how this whole tooth fairy thing works. I love how excited he gets about everything!
