November is a little bit of a blur with all the craziness that comes with Christopher finishing his degree. We did do other things than sit and watch him write and write and write :) Here are a few of the highlights:
Kallie wins the prize for first stitches (glue) in our family. Who knew it would be our little girl? One night after family prayer, Ben and Kallie were horsing around (like usual) and Ben tossed Kallie over his shoulder right smack into the wall. She got a lovely, clean cut on her forehead that required a little trip to the ER. Do you know how much head wounds bleed?!?!? Insane! Anyways, since it was such a nice clean cut she got a little glue with a little tape and we were on our way home. She was super brave.
Kallie also lost another tooth this month! She was so excited and couldn’t wait to tell her class at school so they could sing her the lost tooth song.
Christopher’s brother Nathan gave his mission farewell talk at church. He is leaving for Taiwan in 2 days! Crazy! Aunt Megan and little Channing flew out for a quick visit so we got to see them too!
Thanks to Uncle Nate Benjamin has access to a guitar for 2 years so we started him in guitar lessons. Of course he is a pro and is now teaching Andrew (and me)
This year due to high stress and a very big belly we had to forgo our annual trip to Cali for Thanksgiving and stayed a little closer to home. Christopher took a break from his writing and made the most amazing turkey (he fried it). This is one of his favorite things to do!
The Thanksgiving table waiting for all the cooks to take a seat :) Unfortunately this was not a week where I felt great and Chris was busy writing so we are sorely lacking in pictures for Thanksgiving. The meal was absolutely amazing and you couldn’t ask for better company!
Benjamin got his Bobcat at Scouts! He was so excited and couldn’t wait to get the little stamp on his cheek and have everyone sizzle for him. Isn’t he adorable?!
So that’s pretty much November. On to December! Then on to January! Than BABY!!!! (Can you tell I’m a little excited to have our little man arrive???)
