February has been insane. Christopher left at the very end of January to travel all around the world, came home for 4 days, our water heater broke during that time, then he left with Andrew to travel on a bus down to Orlando to march in the parade at Universal. To say Christopher has had a busy month is the understatement of the year. But this guy puts family first. He went to bed at 3am, woke up at 5am, worked all day in DC, came home, packed a bag, and jumped on a coach bus at 3pm. He might have been the only person to sleep on that 14 hour drive!
Marching Band has been amazing for Andrew. I'm so grateful Kallie stepped out of her comfort zone and joined the marching band when she was at MVHS. These are the best kid - and best parents! Andrew is lucky to get to go through high school with these awesome kids!
First stop? Breakfast at Bubba Gumps! Then they headed over to Universal to get dressed for their performance.
There's Andrew! I'll never get used to him in that white hat!
After they performed they got to enjoy the park! Christopher was the chaperone that hung with the kids. He's a big kid himself, so it only made since the kids felt right at home with him! Andrew was awesome and let his Dad tag along!
They were able to hang out for 2 days and enjoy the park and also go to a dinner show. At the end of a crazy long day at the park, they changed into comfy travel clothes, jumped on the coach bus, and headed back home. Thankfully they weren't on the stinky bus.....ask Andrew :)
