Our Halloween night started off in the best way possible! We a family video call! We were able to talk to Ben and Kallie and hear all about her second week. She is doing great and really loving the other people in her district. Ben is crazy busy with classes and work - and honestly doesn't play enough for my liking!
After we hung up we headed out to join friends in a neighborhood with sidewalks and easier to access front doors. Zack quickly left to hang out with his friends (he was scissors in the rock, paper, scissors trio). We ran into them a few times while running around the neighborhood. Xander wanted to go to every scary house and Nick was game too! Around 8 the littles had had their fill and it was time to leave. Zack was able to stay out and hang with friends until 10. Nick quickly shed his costume (it was so warm. 80 degrees while trick or treating, and Nick had a warm costume) They were out cold before we left the neighborhood. What a great Halloween we had!
