Nicholas loves....

The second you put Nick on our bed he beelines over to our headboard to see what treasures are there.  It is his favorite thing to do.  He loves to find a treasure, explore it, then throw it on the ground.  I think he also thinks our pillows are fun mountains to climb.  Early in the morning he will find our glasses and hand them to us - whether we are awake yet or not...

And he looks so cute when he puts diapers on his head.

He is now a pro crawler.  He loves to go out of his way to find something on the ground and throw it out of his pathway.  It's so cute to watch.  He is so close to walking. He loves to cruise around the couch and push his car around.

I try to put him down for his nap for hours - Chris comes home, takes him outside to the hammock and this kid is out cold.  UGH

Good things he's cute....

Andrew caught this sweet shot of Ben and Nick

He can also now go up AND down the stairs!

Last cute thing I need to remember is his cute way of playing soccer.  He sits on his bum and kicks whatever he can with his little feet.  He uses his feet to spin around to keep kicking things.  Why is he so adorable?!

Waffles for DAYS

Andrew has been changing up his diet lately - pretty much doing Keto.  He really wanted to make chocolate peanut butter keto waffles.  Unfortunately he accidentally doubled plus the recipe.  We now have a freezer full of yummy keto waffles.  Poor Andrew spent two hours baking all these waffles.  Success!

My Baby....

looks adorable in hats :)

Zack Discovers Books!

I've been waiting for this day for years.  The day Zack finally discovered the joys of reading!  My other kids discovered the joy of being transported to another world around the age of 6 - Zack took a bit longer (I'm still waiting for Andrew to find it).  In order to celebrate his accomplishment we ordered the 4th Wayside School and Holes.  He was so excited!

Andrew - the photographer

Today was a beautiful day in Salisbury.  The kids did school work outside, we swung in the hammock, and just really enjoyed the day.  Zack was adorable with Nick.  He took him on little rides pulling our picnic blanket and Nick just belly laughed over and over.  It was the best sounds ever.

The cute boys happy yelling at eachother

Ben even came out to join in the fun!

Ben pulls a little fast than Zack - no worries - Zack jumped on to the blanket to be Nick's "seat belt"

Seriously, how cute are these boys?!?!  And yes, Zack is always in this Dino onesie.

Ben loves taking pictures and has recently submitted a few to Adobe to sell - and got them accepted!  That has inspired Andrew to sell some too!  He spent all day with my nice camera taking 400 pictures.  He got some cute ones of Nick by pulling him on the blanket and snapping pictures while he did.  I'll load those once I can pry the camera away from Andrew.

But seriously, look at this amazing picture he got!?!?  He got lots more - but this is the only one he emailed me that was "done".  I'll post some others later.

Nick Turns One!

I can't believe this sweet boy is already one!  In fact, I couldn't even do his birthday on his real birthday, May 13 - I wasn't mentally ready for my little baby to be one already.  So I scheduled his one year old shots instead.  I'm a terrible mother!

But how adorable is this boy in his awesome shirt with his sweet curls!??!

These pictures are all out of order and I can't figure out how to put them back.

We did a little photo shoot in the backyard.  He is just the cutest little model!

One of his favorite foods is strawberries.  He had a chocolate cake, buttercream frosting, and strawberries and blueberries on the outside.

I bought him this little onesie and wanted to make sure it fit him.  Unfortunately it was just as he was waking up from his nap and he wasn't a fan.  But it was so cute I had to take a picture!  It is how we both felt about him turing one ;)

Nicolas loves being the center of attention.  He claps for himself and waves hello and goodbye whenever he enters or leaves a room.  He is a fast crawler, can climb up the stairs but not down, loves music, giggles when he likes what you are feeding him, loves to hit your face and blow raspberries on you, has six teeth and two more on the bottom just breaking through.  He loves to go "swimming" aka bath time, rocking with Dad, singing songs, and sitcom theme songs.  Whenever the theme song of the show we are watching comes on he stops, turns to the TV, watches the intro, then losses interest when the show starts again.  It is the craziest thing!

The first (and so far only) gift he opened was his very own guitar.  He loves it so much!  He wanted nothing to do with his other gifts - so he has a few to open still.  This year has flown by and I can't believe he is already one.  Where does the time go?!!?  We love and adore this little boy so much.  I don't know what we did before he was here!
