Outstanding Air Fore Acquisition Staff Officer - Civilian Award

A mysterious box arrived while Christopher was traveling last week. I didn't want to open it since it said it was from the pentagon, but I was super curious. Finally I couldn't stand it anymore and Christopher told me to open it. Inside was an award he was told he won back in 2022, but honestly wasn't sure if he actually had or not. He was thrilled! We were all so excited for him. When he got home from travel we had to take a picture of him with his award; and as luck would have it it was wearing the perfect shirt.

First Kallie - Now Joseph at Kings Dominion!

Man, Nick has been living his best life this week! After the success of getting Kallie to KD, he worked his magic charms on me and convinced me to get Joseph a pass and have him tag along. Kallie was nice enough to stay home with a sick Xander, and Zack and I took the boys and headed off - in the rain and thunder storm. Nick was so excited to go on the log ride with Joseph. Joseph tried to act tough, but absolutely hated the drop. He wouldn't even give it a second try and no longer trusted Nick's opinion on whether or not a ride was fun. I convinced him to go on a few more rides, but he really just wanted to go to the water park area. To be totally honest I was dragging my feet in hopes it would warm up a bit and stop raining!

These boys had the absolute best day hanging out in the water park. They were a blur all day, running from slide to slide. I even read 5 whole chapters of my book!

Bumper cars were Joseph's favorite. Sadly the rain returned and all the rides had to shut down. Thankfully BooBlasters was not one of those. Nick was thrilled. Joseph? Terrified.

They held hands while walking in. It was adorable. Joseph declared it was an awesome ride. So we rode it 2 more times before heading home.

They wanted to look at pictures of themselves during the drive home. When I got my phone back I had almost 200 pictures and videos of these crazy kids. These were my favorites!

Kallie goes to Kings Dominion!

Nick has been dying to take Kallie to King Dominion. Yes, she has already been there - but NO, not with him. We finally got her to come with us and Nick was a kid in a candy store dragging her ride after ride. We started off the day with the favorite Log Ride, followed by turkeys (the eagle ride - nick thinks they look like turkeys), which made Kallie super sick. I was finally able to remove Nick from Kallie's side by convincing him to go explore the water park with me. We spent the rest of the day hanging in the water area while the older kids explored the bigger rides. I'm loving our passes! We finally had to go home once we got all rained out. It was a good day.

Sick Kid

Poor Xander. When he gets sick, he GETS SICK! For the last two weeks he has been having yucky noses, coughing so hard he vomits, pink eye, and fevers. I don't think there is anything cuter than watching him sleep. Fingers in his mouth, other hand on his mommies, and out cold.

These Boys.....

There are too many funny exchanges with these boys- and I'm terrible at documenting all the them. But the other day we had this gem:

Nick: "MOOOOMM!!!! Xander hit my leg!"
Xander: "No I didn't! I hit his arm"
