I think we might have started a new tradition! When we found out the kids have the Friday before and Monday after Easter off school, we decided to see if anyone was down to meet up in Nashville for a little family Easter party. Ana's Family and Grandma and Papa said yes! We had so much fun, I can't see us not doing this in the future too! It was only for a few days, but 100000% worth the 10 hour drives! Also I took 300 pictures - so we are going to break up this post a bit! Here is our "just hanging around post"

Easter in Nashville!

Edna and Waterboy
I kept seeing ads on Facebook about fostering puppies and thought, “Hey, I can do that!” So, the day we got back from Nashville, we drove an hour to see if fostering would be the right fit for our family. The plan was to bring home one puppy… but of course, we ended up with two—Edna and Waterboy!
Having those sweet pups in our home was such a joy. It was great for me and even better for the kids. They brought so much fun, chaos, and love into our house. But—let’s be honest—it also confirmed that we’re not quite ready for a dog of our own just yet. No fenced yard, muddy paw prints, and potty training mishaps reminded us that the timing isn’t right.
If we weren’t going to be gone all summer, I honestly might have kept Edna. She was the absolute sweetest girl!

Easter Egg Hunt
Grandma always puts on the best Easter egg hunts, and this year was no exception! But Ana and I decided to shake things up a bit. We organized an adult Easter egg hunt—complete with a buy-in—and even surprised Grandma and Papa with their own Easter baskets.
Ana truly stole the show with her gift: she took the classic children's book Are You My Mother? and replaced all the illustrations with hilarious photos of Grandma. The grandkids were obsessed with it—they couldn’t stop giggling! It was ridiculously cute.
As part of the adult egg hunt, we had a few fun challenges. One of the highlights? A “chubby bunny” contest between Grandma and Ana. Grandma absolutely crushed it—she left Ana in the dust! The photos from that moment still have me laughing out loud.
All in all, it was such a joyful, silly, and unforgettable Easter. Can’t wait for next year!
