Nick and Xander have absolutely loved setting up for Christmas this year. They have been the only ones to even put ornaments on the tree! We don't have fancy ornaments - normally just pictures of the kids at different ages. Being the youngest (and only alive for 2 Christmas's so far) Xander is severely lacking pictures on the tree! Every ornament he would pull out he would as if that was him. I would say no and tell him which kid it was and he would look at it, then sadly put it on the tree and go fishing for one that might be him. It broke my heart, so I just decided to start lying to him and telling him that whatever picture he brought me was him and not the actual child it was. Every morning he runs downstairs and turns on the Christmas tree and will just sit and stare at it, looking at each ornament. He also has decorated every outlet with a strand of lights too. My house looks very festive!
