Kicking off Spring Break! Jacksonville, Fl 3/22

We were so excited for Spring Break to start! This year we decided to take the kids to Florida and explore all the amazing places and things Florida has to offer. Since it is so far, we decided to go part way to Jacksonville then stop over night. We found a few fun sights to check out enroute - one of which is the Tuskegee Airman Memorial. Honestly it was so cold we didn't really explore as we normally would.

When we got to Jacksonville we realized our museum pass was good there so we loaded up and headed downtown! It was an awesome museum and we even saw an alligator turtle (he's hanging out under the bridge the boys are on) He had algae growing on him! It was gross and sad.

Then we went inside and saw the planetarium show - which was nice to sit in a cool, dark room with cozy chairs.

After seeing the huge water fountains in the city center, we headed to a yummy mexican place for dinner before heading back to our hotel and relaxing for the rest of the night.
