Well, not Chris and I, but my sister Shelley and her husband Jacob! Today at 9:47am Shelley gave birth to this sweet little thing...
She weighed 8lbs 5 oz and was 20 inches long. She has black hair and a darker complextion than her blond, fair skinned big sister Ava Leigh. She got pretty bruised on the way out...so her face is still puffy and swollen. Am I the only one who doesn't think she looks like a baby who is only hours old?!?! What a big baby!

Shelley and Jacob haven't picked out her name yet, so we will all just have to wait till they decided....hopefully it won't take Shel as long as it took me to name Kallie. She has lots of black hair and a great set of lungs :) Alysa let me listen to her cooing over the phone and she has such a sweet little voice. Shelley is feeling great and is ready to be up and going! Little Ava isn't allowed in the hospital so Shel has to wait 2 days to see little Ava Leigh, which is hard on her. She can't wait to see Ava Leigh as a big sister! Congratulations Shelley, Jacob, and Ava Leigh!!!
