Nick had his three year old check up this week. His vocabulary is just incredible. The nurse was asking me questions about him, and he would just answer them for me. Finally she just started asking Nick the questions and he would answer. My favorite exchange:
Nurse: Where are the lights?
Nick: Points to lights "right there"
Nurse: Where is the ground?
Nick: Points to the ground and looks at me with a puzzled expression on his face like, does she not know where these things are?
After seeing the doctor, she recommended him applying to be a "peer model" at school since his vocabulary and social skills are pretty good for a three year old. We went ahead and did all the interviews and tests and he made it! He starts "school" this fall with the rest of the kids and I think he is going to love it!
