Nick is an amazing driver; he makes it look effortless! So effortless, in fact, that Xander wanted to give it a try. The jeep is fantastic because I have a remote control that can override the actual driver. As I was reaching for the remote, Xander decided to take matters into his own hands and gunned it. I thought he was fine, especially since Nick was sitting right beside him. But before I knew it, I saw them veering off the walkway and heading straight for the rose bushes. It was almost like the jeep was trying to climb the side of the house like Spider-Man! Both boys were crying, lying on their backs, with the jeep balancing on two wheels. But just as quickly as the tears came, they wiped them away and hopped back behind the wheel—though with a new rule: for now, only Nick is allowed to drive.
