Now that Ben and Kallie have a car that is reliable, and actually gets good gas mileage, they decided to take advantage of it and head to California! I love that my kids will go down and visit with Ahma and Joy. It makes me so happy when they get to know my family too. I feel like they know Christopher's side very well, but now that Ben and Kal are in Utah, they are in a great place to see my side too.
They left very early Friday morning and made it to Glendora by lunch time. Of course Ahma and Joy completely spoiled them. They went out to dinner each night, visited Roger's nursey and had farm to table lunch (that looked incredible), Had dinner with Alysa and her girls, and of course ice cream! Baskin Robin's shakes and Balboa Bars. I think we all get our love of ice cream from Ahma! The kids also enjoyed fresh squeezed orange juice fresh from the orange grove and went home with a trunk load of avocados, limes, lemons, and oranges.
They left very early Sunday morning to head back to Provo and made it there by early evening. Thank you Joy for all the pictures! Ben and Kallie .....no comment :) 💕
