Great Wolf Lodge

We had the best time at Great Wolf Lodge. We totally crashed our friend's party and have no regrets! We met up with the Freckletons, Dennis, and Deans for a little overnight getaway at the Williamsburg Great Wolf. It was a blast! It is a little tricky since our kids don't line up fantastically, but we had a blast!

We took the kids last year and it was fun. This year it was fantastic! It is amazing what a difference one year makes in what the little boys can do. Nick could ride all the big rides and did! He also loved to take off his life jacket and go down the fast slides that didn't end in a big pool. It was so fun to just sit in a chair at the bottom of the slides and clap when he came down.

Xander loved these yellow and orange slides! We spent hours going down, running around, going down, running around - repeat. I catch Xander one way (I don't let him go under the water) and Christopher thinks it's fine to let them go under. Dad lost all trust with Xander and he refused to let him catch him. So I spent all my time catching him! I left for a little bit with Nick to treat his rash on his legs, and Xander actually went and got another mom to catch him over Christopher. When you burn Xander he remembers!

The next day he wouldn't go down the slide at all. He would just sit at the very top and not go - letting a line form behind him. We made no friends that day.

Little boys in goggles is my favorite. After Nick got bathed and dressed he made sure to go grab his goggles. He did the magic quest and story time wearing his goggles. Oh to be 4!

For dinner we got Sonic and had pie with ice cream for dessert. It made a big impact on Xander. When he woke up two days later he was talking in his sleep about his delicious hamburger, fries, and orange juice!

These boys are fish! All four of them stayed longer than any of the other kids. It was awesome!

BYU had a big game on Thursday. Derek grabbed a cabaƱa, turned on the game, grabbed snacks, and enjoyed the terrible game (we lost). Chris watched most on his phone, but gave up when we were 20 points behind.

King of the world right here!

Oh I love these boys! We missed Ben and Kal so much! Honestly I just kept thinking that last time we were there Kal was writing her BYU essays!

How Christopher watched the game. Holding a sleeping Xander, munching on dried mango, hanging with Andrew

At night, we put the kids to bed and headed over to the Freckletons room. We chatted, played code names, and laughed until we cried. It was such a fun group to go with! I think this should be a new tradition!
