We had a very exciting 4th of July this year — starting in Nashville and ending at the cabin in Utah! By pure luck, we ended up on the same flight as Ana and Anthony heading to Provo, which made the trip even more fun for us and the kids.
The day began with a relaxed morning at the Nashville house before heading to the airport for our direct flight. Once we landed in Provo, we were greeted by Ben, Grandma, and Papa — and the reunion was full of smiles and hugs. Everyone was so excited to be back together!
From there, we headed straight to Midvale to celebrate the 4th with fireworks. We arrived at the park and jumped right into the fun — playing on the playground, hanging out with cousins, eating pizza and junk food, and running around playing all sorts of games. As night fell, the fireworks lit up the hillside, and we all sat back and enjoyed the show.
A few funny highlights: Ben and Andrew still can’t stop trying to outdo each other — it’s adorable and endlessly entertaining. All the boys were busy flexing and showing off how “buff” they are. And Anthony? He got dared to recreate the eyelash prank Megan once pulled on Grandma… and it actually worked! Dan was such a good sport through it all.
It was such a fun, laughter-filled 4th of July — one we won’t forget anytime soon.
