The big day finally arrived — Xander’s birthday! He’s been counting down ever since Nick’s back in May, and today it was finally his turn to celebrate. We’re in Utah, which made it extra special with cousins (and more cousins!) all around.
The day kicked off with a porch fort built by the cousins, followed by an exciting treasure hunt planned by Grandma and Allie. Then came a delicious breakfast of Dutch babies, freshly made by Dad. While everyone else headed out for a hike, Xander and I stayed behind for a cozy birthday nap.
After dinner, it was time for cake — and a video call from our favorite missionary, who joined in to watch Xander open his presents. Such a sweet and memorable way to celebrate turning 4!
